Attention Suzy
Master of making a room look cute, I need to feel comfy in this room (picture below) that I will have to move into in about two weeks, I hate this room, but because I'm a 23(almost 24) year old loser who has to live with her parents temporarily (and really when is it gonna end, when bevmo gives me a raise? cause they ain't giving raises this year) and wants to feel comfortable in the place she'll be spending most of her time. Any TIPS? (like what the fuck should I do about that awful wall color? please note the color is about ten times more bright, bold, and garish in person)

Oh my well, the bed looks very cozy..the frame is quite similar to my own Ikea model, therefore I LIKE IT. I would say change the curtains, but they probably block out the sunlight for ma lil maggie. Do you want to paint it? And what colors do you not hate on walls? Since I'm sure there's a list of those in your head. I'd like to see a pale lavender here, I think it would be nice and calming. Obviously we need some serious xmas light reinforcements. Aww shit isn't this the room that people have to walk through to get to other rooms? Is that even going to work for you??
Aren't those the same curtains that you had in your old room?
No this is a room across from my old old room, there's a door to the hallway bathroom, but no one uses that door, the bedframe isn't ikea I don't think, when you see it up close it's very western looking, and yes those are the curtains from my old room and that block out light and are necessary.
I will be happy to paint the room a reasonable color. Curtains are to block the sun for my mugsie.
